Purina was started more than a century ago and is one of the largest dog food companies in the world today. Purina is now owned under a Nestle Purina merger since 2001. In addition to dog food formulas with the name Purina, they also carry the Alpo, Beneful, ONE, and Beggin’ Strips, dog food and snack brand lines.
